Angel Hair

Angel Hair is a designed object, entirely custom built. The inspiration for the work is based on material experimentation using new forms of lighting technology. A flexible LED filament which behaves much like spaghetti takes a voluminous form of a figure 8 when powered. As the components are quite fragile, the mechanism is housed in a glass bell for protection. The name Angel Hair is given to emphasize the fragility of the work and the noodle-like character of the LED filament itself.
