No Comment is a kinetic artwork consisting of a canvas that streams pairs of contrasting words when no viewer is present. In a reflex of concealment, the canvas zips itself shut whenever a visitor approaches. The meaning of this gesture remains deliberately unresolved, leaving viewers to decide whether they are witnessing an act of protection, repression, obedience, modesty, hesitation, or resistance.

The work was initially inspired by the social consequences of taboo discourse and by subjects that remain unspoken despite their persistent presence. While censorship serves as the conceptual point of departure, the vocabulary presented by the artwork remains deliberately playful and ambiguous. Rather than directing the viewer toward a fixed interpretation, the opposing word pairs create an open field of associations, inviting each person to construct their own reading of the tensions, contradictions, and relationships that emerge between them.
